Pete Wise is a freelance writer from Leeds. His work has been published in The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times, The i Paper, as well as some publications whose titles don’t start with the word 'The' – notably including BBC Good Food. Product reviewing became a string to Pete's bow one fateful day when he responded to a newspaper editor's tweet seeking a journalist to review ten mattresses. Since then, he has reviewed a vast array of items from drones to doorbells, houseplants to popcorn makers. Pete also writes about travel, small businesses and music.
